Welcome Home! That is how you will feel the minute you step into this six bedroom, three and a half bath beach cottage! You won’t find a better property for your family than this. You can even bring your four-legged family members as well! Located in the desirable East Beach area, this home is close to many great restaurants including Crab Daddy's, Fiddler's, The Crab Trap, and more. You also won't be far from the Pier Village, where you'll find some of St. Simons' most popular shops, restaurants, and activities such as putt putt, bike rentals, Southeast Adventures, and the lighthouse. There are also brand new pickleball courts in the Pier Village area! This classic property has it all from eclectic beachy feel to modernized amenities. The ground floor offers a large living room with plenty of seating and flat screen TV, a large formal dining table, and a galley style kitchen that is larger than most. The master bedroom with TV and king bed is on the ground floor and has a Jack and Jill bathroom with standalone shower that connects to the second bedroom with two twin beds. The second floor has a long hallway that divides the bedrooms on each side. On the left you will find the third bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with shower/tub that connects to the fourth bedroom with two twins. On the right is the same set up, fifth bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom with a standalone shower that connects to the sixth bedroom with two twin beds. Every bedroom has its own sink to wash up a little before bed or when you first wake up. There is a large screened back porch that leads out to the private use in ground pool. This home is a convenient 10 minute walk to the nearest public beach access and less than three to four blocks from the desirable East Beach US Coast Guard Station! Pets considered with non-refundable pet fee of $200. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the pool cannot be heated.

As long as you're expecting an old-school beach house--sandy & modest, with a grab-bag of kitchen supplies (rather than a multimillion-dollar mansion with granite counters, like those springing up everywhere), you'll have a great time here. Perfect location!! Nice room lay-out: three BR/bathroom/twin BR combos, great for families. NO laundry facilities, which was a surprise with a beach house. Pool is unheated. But dogs are welcome.

Tabby Quarters was perfect for our beach vacation that includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, and grandchildren. We spent most of our time on the porch watching the kids swim. We all loved this home!

We stayed here with our wedding party the weekend of our wedding. It was perfect and offered enough space and flexibility for everyone. The pool and sunroom were where we spent most of our time. It's fairly close to everything and we enjoyed that we could get to anything we wanted in a short drive. The walk to downtown St simons was too far for us so we may have prefered something close to town.

The home was large which was really nice. Big kitchen, plenty of seating in living room and plenty of room on nice screened in porch. The place was very clean when we arrived. It is an older home and we agreed with other reviewers about some of the beds not being comfortable. The pool was great. It is a longer walk to the beach than some other homes on St. Simons where we’ve stayed.

This house is kitschy but cute. We enjoyed the large common area, spent a ton of time on the porch and by the pool and enjoyed the location of the house. We were certainly duped by the description of the house being 3/4 of a block to the beach access and 4 blocks to East Beach as we had never rented on the island. It was a solid 10 minute walk to the beach and totally understandable now that we are more familiar with the island, but we were unprepared. The house could use updates to the plumbing and to the locks on the doors. Overall it was a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Tabby Quarters. A perfect beach house for our family. Plenty of room for all of our family and lovely back porch. We enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach. The reviews about the locks is true, they are a little weird but we did not mind. We would definitely stay in this house again.
