We spent a month in the Rooney Cottage in February 2026. There's a lot to like in this unit: Great location, private drive, walkable to the beach and local restaurants, comfortable furniture and beds, plenty of room, modern kitchen appliances and TV's, lawn chairs and five rideable bikes in the shed. It was perfect for our needs. The Golden Isle Realty is only a mile away and Katie was prompt and helpful when we had questions.

We had a fantastic vacation staying at the Rooney Cottage. It is in a great location and very comfortable.

Quick and easy. Have stayed for 2 years now and really enjoy the cottage. Get a golf cart and you are set. Plan on staying again.

We had a ball. Enjoyed my 2 year old grandson sitting on the front porch and watching the grass snakes play in the front yard. We will be booking again next summer hopefully.

The cottage was amazing. Larger than it appears in photos. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Perfect location. The only recommendations I have are to update the electrical outlets to accommodate 3 prong plugs so you can plug in electronics such as laptops in all rooms. The other would be to have some lighting on the front porch. However, I would rent it again regardless. Absolutely loved it.

We had a very relaxing stay in Rooney Cottage. It was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, linens, beach chairs and bikes. The location is excellent with just a very short walk to the beach and many wonderful restaurants.

We had an enjoyable family vacation at Sea Gift Cottage for the sixth year in a row. The house is in an ideal location across from the beach and within walking distance to the village and nearby restaurants. It is equipped with everything that you would find in a typical home, especially the kitchen. The backyard pool is also a plus with children as well as having a washer and dryer.

We had a wonderful week at Sea Gift Cottage on St. Simon's Island. The rental house is great; the fourth year we have stayed in the same house and plan to return next year. The management staff is very responsive if there are issues, but really that is very rare. The house is always clean and well stocked with starter essentials like paper towels and toilet tissue.

Great location combined with a very welcoming house . You immediately feel comfortable. Sitting on the porch for breakfast one can watch people on the beach and occasional ships entering or exiting the port.

We had a great week. This was our third stay in this house and it continues to be one of our favorite places to gather as a family. It is convenient to everything, has plenty of room for all 8 of us, has a pool and allows dogs.

We stayed at the Sea Gift cottage for a week with our extended family! The website and pictures do not do justice to the spectacular views from the front porch! The home is well equipped and very comfortable. We all agreed that ceiling fans in the living room would make a huge difference in the comfort level! The pool was refreshing and my 6 year old nephew conquered his fear of getting his face wet! By day 3 he was diving under the water to fetch toys! We highly recommend this home! The property manager was very helpful and responsive when issues came up.

Rent Sea Gift every March. It is comfortable, feels like home and the bonus is a great ocean view. Great location, Within walking distance to the village or King & Prince Resort. Love to watch the ships come an go out of Brunswick Harbor as they pass the light house.

This is really a nice rental property. It is located in a great spot, close to the beach and popular attractions. It is comfortable, well appointed, and well equipped with all you will ever need to cook and play. The property is attractive and well maintained. The fenced back yard and pool are a huge asset. We enjoyed our visit very much and most definitely will return.

This property checks all the boxes. With beach views from almost every seat in the house and catty corner to the public entrance, we were able to walk our dogs on the beach almost every morning. We had the most amazing time. In fact, we love it so much that a week is not enough, so we booked our next visit for a month!

We really like this lovely home right across the street from the beach. Our grands love the pool. The adults love the front porch and sitting on it at dusk with a good glass of wine, watching the ocean. It is comfortable and well-appointed. We have been staying at Sea Gift for a week during the summer for the past 4 years and plan to return.

This is the best rental on SSI! The views are amazing and the location is superb! The house was very clean; older but well loved and maintained. The pool and covered outdoor area was so nice for our family and kids. It really is a SHORT walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with quality tools for dining in. We couldn’t have been happier!

We’ve stayed at Sea Gift Cottage for 3 years in a row now. We have a family of 10, including 4 young grandchildren. The house is perfect for us all! The location across the street from the beach is amazing and we also enjoy having a private pool! The house has a deck on the back and a large front porch we used daily. We plan on returning year after year!

This house is a dream - location, access to and view of the beach, furnishings, spaciousness, well supplied kitchen. We met the owners upon arrival and they were very gracious, helpful, and offered any help we needed. The house clearly has been given a lot of love and detail. And, yes, it was very clean. It was wonderful to be able to stay in a dog friendly house, too!

My family of 10, including 4 little ones under 4yo have stayed in Sea Gift 2 years in a row now, and we've reserved it for next year! It is perfect for our family! It's right across the street from the beach and it has a pool. Everything is up to date and is nicely decorated. And of course we all love St. Simons Island!!

The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner. And there were even two bins in the cabinets with kids dishes! The screen porch was awesome and a great place for gathering. The living room was excellent and very comfy. Bedrooms were comfy. Linens and towels were plenty. And the location was fantastic. Best of all was the management company, Golden Isles. We had a couple hiccups when we arrived and they immediately addressed them. THANK YOU

This was our 4th time staying here and as always we had a good time. House is big enough for everyone to have their own space. It is really close to the pier.

Always enjoy renting thru Golden Isles. This was our third time renting this house and we loved it.

House sleeps 9 well. There are 6 chairs and 2 counter stools. Would be better to have a table with leaves and 9 chairs but I understand the aesthetics of the table that's there. Because this was our 3rd year in this house, I brought a folding table that we added to the end and some folding chairs. It is a clean, comfortable house with a great porch which our family thoroughly enjoyed. The location is great for beach and town. Plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend it.
